About PM SHRI KV Bengdubi

With an endeavour to provide the students with the best and latest teaching-learning facilities for holistic development, the foundation stone of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Bengdubi was laid on 29th May 1978 and the school was established on 27th March 1980.

The school is spread over an area of 15 acres. There are proper arrangements for an open gym, playground, spacious classrooms and laboratory facilities. The school is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas giving both teachers and students the opportunity to learn with and in nature. The Vidyalaya started off with three sections in each class since its inception and it was only in 2023 that the process of limiting the classes to two sections was initiated starting from Class I.
Consequently, classes up to X will have two sections in the coming years.
The Vidyalaya offers Humanities, Commerce and Science streams for the XIth and XIIth classes. It caters to the educational needs of students from different stratas of the society.
The school is about 5 kilometres away from the Bagdogra International Airport, about 16 kilometres away from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and is 4km from the entrance of the Bengdubi Military Station.
