Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has long stood as a beacon of academic excellence and holistic development in the landscape of Indian education. Within our vibrant Region, spanning the culturally rich and geographically diverse terrains of West Bengal and Sikkim, 64 Kendriya Vidyalayas work tirelessly to nurture the leaders of tomorrow.

Education is not a solitary pursuit; it is a collaborative voyage. As we navigate the evolving paradigms of the 21st century, our success hinges upon our collective efforts. I call upon every stakeholder—our dedicated educators, supportive parents, and industrious students—to unite with a shared synergy. Together, we must foster an environment where curiosity is ignited, character is built, and potential is fully realized.

To guide our journey ahead, we are anchoring our institutional goals on four critical pillars:

• Robust Implementation of NEP 2020: By integrating multilingualism, mathematical thinking, and 21st-century skills into our daily classrooms, our region is fully committed to shifting the pedagogical paradigm from rote memorization to competency-based, experiential learning.
• The Vanguard of Innovation – PM SHRI Schools: PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyaalyas are being nurtured as exemplar schools, showcasing the full spectrum of the NEP 2020. With eco-friendly campuses, cutting-edge smart classrooms, and modern labs, these schools will mentor and uplift the entire educational ecosystem of the region.
• Infrastructural and Academic Resurgence: We are committed towards progressively upgrading the physical and digital infrastructure across all 64 Vidyalayas. Parallelly, robust continuous professional development programs are being executed to empower our faculty with advanced pedagogical tools, ensuring our academic delivery remains unparalleled.
• Elevating Academic and Co-Curricular Benchmarks: Besides achieving quantitative and qualitative enhancement in our board results, we aspire to see our students scale new heights in sports, arts, science exhibitions, and youth parliaments and other activities, striking a perfect equilibrium between scholastic rigor and co-curricular brilliance.
